Meet Cassie Hayes
As a little girl in the Chicago suburbs, you could often find me in my parent’s office creating pretend invoices worth millions. (Don’t worry, my prices are much more reasonable today!)
My identity was largely formed by our Catholic faith and running our family business out of our home. Entrepreneurship is quite literally in my blood, dating back to my great-grandmothers, both innovators & problem solvers far ahead of their time.
Why I'm here
As a child, I saw firsthand the challenges required to run a successful small business and manage a fulfilling family life. As a business owner, my dad worked hard and played hard. Seeing my mom contribute to our family income while still being available for us kids showed me it was possible to blend business ownership & motherhood.
I figured a career as a music teacher would be the perfect way to be a present mom while having a career in something I loved. However, God had other plans! Enter, Amway. (Yes, the Father of all Network Marketing companies Amway.) The combination of Christian values and biblical principles applied to family life and business was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Although it wasn’t a profitable venture for myself & my now-husband (surprise, surprise!), the lessons learned in that season of life helped shape the woman, wife, mom, and entrepreneur I am today.
God has given me countless opportunities to step out in faith and follow his lead. He opened doors for full-time employment in ministry operations at Willow Creek, the megachurch we attended. My love for streamlining user-friendly systems, incessantly improving processes to better serve people, and all things operations came to life. I learned to be a scrappy and resourceful force for good, able to find creative solutions to complex problems.
In every step of my journey, God paved the path and gave me the insight, skillset, values, & community to become a 4th generation business owner.
Today, I enjoy being married to my husband Alex, mom to our 4 kids, leader to my Agency team, and source of support for 6- & 7- figure business owners who don’t geek out on operations and systems like I do!
a peek Behind the Scenes
If you met Cassie at her favorite local coffee shop, you might learn that she...
-
prefers deep conversation with a few people over surface topics with a big crowd
-
nerds out over behavioral science and sometimes reads 'history of disease' books in her spare time
-
loves personality assessments, but especially geeks out over the Enneagram and Working Genius model (She's an 1w2, WE, and has Restorative, Achiever, Relator, and Communication in her Top Gallup Strengths)
-
snacks on a glass of red wine and dark chocolate as a reward for a productive day
-
knows the lines and songs from most Disney movies & musicals (except for 🐈⬛s 😜)
-
turns every silly video her kids share with her into a lecture on one thing or another (they leave the Dad jokes to Dad)
-
is technically a Millennial, but wishes she was born 1 year earlier so she could be grouped with her REAL homies, the Xennials
-
lives in IL, but her heart lives down the shore in LBI, NJ. #iykyk
